what do i need to wear and have in my inventory for bandits?

i go with torso, rune legs, rune def, helm of neitznot, d scim, ring of life, glory (4)
inventory....d battleaxe, 3 restore, 400gp, shantey passes, rest monks....

why the restores?
when you use d battleaxe spec gets all your cb stats down and raises strengh then you use restore to restore your stats...
