nice theory tho saying it only took one day later for debris to form into the moon is a bit off, as no explaination why the rings of saturn, which are also thought to be debris particles, have not yet
I wondered the same thing about Saturn. Even though I think it said it was a year not a day (I could be wrong as I watched this hours ago), it still doesn't add up.
Saturn is BIG. Two theories: 1.) The rings are the result of leftovers when Saturn was created. 2.) Saturns tidal forces tore apart an icy moon(s), leaving the rings.
Tidal forces are at work extensively on Io, one of Jupiters moons. The tidal force created by Jupiter makes Io the most geologically active body in the solar system.
