Time to get 99 mining, I'll use the living minerals from getting 99 to fish rocktail. ^^

but you have to kill the rock monsters for the living minerals.

best bet is only killing the monsters either on slayer task or as you fish the rocktails when they attack you.
that way u'll always have some on hand and be using them up almost as fast as u gain the
each monster corpse mined = 6 minerals + 25xp.
or if u want gold / coal for smithing / crafting mine the deposits, and kill the creatures as they attack you to mine them as well.
that way your constantly getting minerals for fishing later alongside ores and decent xp for your time spent in there.
Guys, I meant like, I'm mining the coal deposits until 80, and then gold, but there's lots of people here training slayer, I mine the bodies from those! I'm not getting 99 from killing the monsters,
And mining their bodies. :p
I would powermine till 80 tbh. I heard mining coal has a low xp/h.
I'd rather mine coal at the caverns then power-mine tbh, I'm done with power-mining, it's so boring. D:
