I guess if it takes 2 tries (char goes down to light fire) you failed the first one. :|

That's still not very useful though, as you only lose a few seconds on the rare time that that happens XD

Before my character like attempted to light a log like 20 times and it eventually gave up and just left the log on the ground

ya and the very funny thing is you can only put them on normal logs. =P

yea but the only way to fail to light a regular log is at very low firemaking levels. think it used to take like 3+ trys for some people on tutorial isle.
