Vista crashed my motherboard :(
Oh well, new, better laptop with Windows 7 on it. Lets see how long this one lasts.

An operating system can't crash a motherboard unless you update your BIOS with a faulty version or change voltages on the fly.
Well, I think it had something to do with the fact that I very rarely shut it off or unplugged the wall battery though. The fact that the laptop has seen Iraq doesn't help it much either.
