Hm 8 deaths at Nomad so far, figure I'm doing something wrong cause every time I would run out of food before he healed to half hp. Tried meleeing and ranging, none of em working as well as I thought.

rubber chicken works...try ice barrage?
if he's shreding you that fast be sure your armor has alot of magic defense, pot up as much as you can so you'll do more damage. and if needed i found melee protect / deflect, worked better than magic
