Most cheap laptops will have intel graphics, which won't be able to run HD. But you don't seem to care, so it doesn't really matter. SD is real nice to play on anyways
Tip, I got a new laptop with an Intel graphics chip, and it sucks the biggest pair of balls in the world. It runs HD horribly and only just about runs SD smoothly. Get an Nvidia.
