It's not illegal. Do it. You get so many features unlocked, it's well worth the inconvenience when you want to upgrade the firmware. It's rarely worth upgrading immediately anyway.

Yeah I'm still thinking about jailbreaking mine. I think it's well worth it like Paul said. Tons of new features are unlocked. I say go for it!
