can someone give me a rough estimate how much and how long 99 cooking would take...
from what i heard this is the way to go.
74 atm
lobsters - till 85
monks - till 94
sharks - till 99

Cooking one lobster a day until 99 will take you 98977 days, or ~271 years.
You will suffer a 59 gp loss every day.
Not going to do the math to find out how much it costs because you should be able to do that, but people can easily get from 90-99 cooking in a week.
If you want to nolife, it wouldn't take much longer than a week. If you just play an hour or so a day it shouldn't be much more than a month.
i only played a few hours a day, and from 85 it took 9 days. As for the cost, back then it costed me about 7-8m, but now i heard its cheaper, because you may even make money off sharks i heard :o or..
just break even, so just do the math, and you should be fine.
