wasn't paying attention in the abyss...talkin on irc. would have lost my pouches and penance gloves. fast reaction times are ftw.

Even if you did die couldn't you just go back there with a Varrock Teleport? :-P
I don't think you would have lost much.
well good sir, you see, penance gloves are destroyed when you die, same with pouches. gloves take ~2 hrs to get, pouches ~ 30 minutes. so i would have lost 2.5 hrs of my daily runescape routine.
