Hello again...

Hello RSBandB community. I joined this forum years ago, but some real life issues pulled me away completely from Runescape. Now that I'm back, I find myself wanting to be part of the community again. I was thrilled to see that RSBandB was still around and that the Podcast was still going strong. I'm finally able to devote some time to Runescape and to RSBandB. Over the past 6 months or so, I've slowly been getting back into runescape, relearning everything and trying to catch up on what I missed.

Here's a little info about me...
I am a 49 year old, married, with one step-daughter. I've been a gamer most of my life, starting with the Atari 2600, so I'm a old geezer but still and avid gamer, lol. When i'm not playing Runescape, other game's I play include Elder Scrolls Online on the Xbox One. I've been a Runescape member since July 2004. I usually play the game while watching tv during my relaxation time after work. I currently work as an Inventory Control associate supporting one of the one of the Honda auto plants in Ohio (the one that makes the Civics). Almost 12 hours of my day during the weekdays is devoted to work, so I need something to take my mind off everyday and unwind. During the weekends, if I don't have to work, I'm able to devote more time to the game, although with the summer coming up, I will be spending more time outside doing some real life farming in our garden. lol.

Nice to meet you all again and look forward to being part of the RSBandB community.

I joined members about the same time as you. The last year and a bit I haven't really played, but everyone comes back eventually, right?

I've tried to completely quit playing about 8 years ago. At the time, I felt the only way I could quit and not be drawn back was to sell off as much as I could and drop or destroy everything else. Then I gave a the huge cash stack to a random new player in Lumbridge, lol. As much as I tried to move on to other games though, I found my way back and spent the better part of a year trying to catch up with missed content and rebuild my bank. I don't smoke, but if I did I think I would have more success quitting smoking than leaving Runescape. There's just something about the game that draw's you back.

I'm sure I'll still be playing 20 years from now if the game is still around.
