After looking into all of the ones posted here, I'm down to these four: the
Mircosoft Habu, the
Logitech Marathon Mouse M705, the
GIGABYTE GM-M6800, and the
RAZER DeathAdder.
My thoughts and feelings on each one:
Microsoft Habu:
+Awesome Design - I love the way this mouse looks
+The nine buttons seem like something that I would like
+Wired
-Expensive - $59.99
Logitech M705 Marathon Mouse:
+Good for browsing the web
+Nice, smooth scrolling wheel
+Long battery life
~Relatively cheap - $37.99
~Wireless
-I constantly hit the back and forward buttons while in use (I used a friend's M705 a while back; my hands are bigger now)
GIGABYTE GM-M6800:
+CHEAP! - $13.99
+Good Reviews
+Wired
~Not sure if buttons are programmable
-Will probably end up hitting the back and forward buttons on this one too
RAZER DeathAdder:
+Amazing design - on par with the Habu
+The 5 customizable buttons are just what I'm looking for
+Customizable sensitivity
+Wired
-No real setbacks here beside the price - $59.99
My aunt said that she wanted to get me a gift for my birthday coming up soon, and I think a new mouse would be a nice gift. With that in mind, I need to think about pricing on these, along with what is above. My aunt and I are closer than most aunt-nephew relationships, so money isn't TOO big of an issue.
If I had to rank these in order of favorite to least favorite, I think it would go:
T1 - Microsoft Habu
T1 - RAZER DeathAdder
3 - GIGABYTE GM-M6800
4 - Logitech M705 Marathon Mouse
Thoughts? Thanks for all the help guys!
