I have a ton of respect for that guy... Read the whole thing and agree completely. This has definitely pushed me nearer to stopping playing... I'll stay for now, but if it gets much worse, I will most likely stop playing

I laugh when i see ***** about bots. Then think back to the amount of people all for free trade. You honestly believed they'd have it under control? :lol:

Got exactly what you deserve if you voted yes. Hes just touched on the tip of the iceberg really. The marketing ploys **** me off royally. But it's all there other **** that annoys me. Do you remember why they cut the updates down to 3 a month? To improve quality. I've not seen any improvement.

All these extra exp boosts they bring into the game - a game based around getting exp is **** stupid as well. They've turned it into a rush to the end so you can go fight some repetitive bosses to get some stupid sword or go do some lucky Pking and pray you don't get screwed over. It was about the journey not the end game.

I honestly got the feeling they didn't know what made there game good. And they still don't.

edit: Am i the last person to realize Andrew gower and co aren't even involved with Jagex anymore? That **** explains a lot. Mr gower has set up some other business and **** knows what his brothers are doing.

edit edit: Seriously you can pay to get your account unbanned now? HAHAHA. That's the most idiotic thing I've heard. Why have people not got in an uproar over this ****? Christ. Absolutley insane. Suddenly a £20 optional mount on WOW doesn't seem like such a bad thing compared to this *******.

Tons of bots existed before free trade. Magic and yew logs were already crashing.

Theres more now. It's to be expected. And it's not surprise. When i know i can just buy my account out of a ban I'd happily cheat too. Totally worth the risk now.

Worst case scenario i get banned and have to spend a tenner getting back years of work. Best case scenario is i get away with it and reap the benefits.

I honestly have thought many time's about leaving runescape and moving on to something else. It's hard to walk away from something you have invested so much time in. I do still enjoy some activities and working towards various goals, but it seems like the value of a high level has been greatly degraded of late.

Banned Account Reinstatement

If Jagex bans any account as a result of your breach of the Rules of RuneScape and you have exhausted the Offence Appeals Process, Jagex may, in its absolute discretion, give you an opportunity to make a fixed payment to reinstate the account.

Any membership credit that is associated with an account cannot be used to pay for such reinstatement. Please note that throughout the period during which the account was banned, any membership credit will continue to expire.

Jagex is not obliged to reinstate any accounts. You are not obliged to exercise the option to reinstate your account. If you are offered the opportunity, it is entirely up to you whether you make any such payment to reinstate an account.

Any gains or advantages that Jagex considers were made as a result of using macros shall be removed from your account. You accept that the account will be returned to you, adjusted by Jagex to take account of the cheating offence, and no discussion will be entered into regarding the status of a returned account.

Well, it's at their discretion, but it's hard to imagine any time this would be appropriate. This is absurd and ridiculous. I hope enough people read the Voice of Reason and get pist off enough at Jagex to make a difference. I also wonder if there is an illegality in anything Jagex has done or if it's completely ok since they own the game.

Jagex has become a dictatorship, any mod that speaks out against them gets demodded.
