Meh. I missed out on the sales because I don't get more reward points until July 28th :/

Are the auras a one time use only thing?

I was worried about the same thing, but thankfully they aren't! They do have a cooldown timer between uses, however!

As for the aura I got, I also got Reverence :P. I'm not a power slayer and don't mind rather slow tasks, so I'll probably stack it with Proselyte and my Split Dragontooth necklace!

I have yet to buy an aura but I suppose I will be getting one today. I don't feel like any of them are that useful, but since they are on sale I feel like I have to buy one or I will miss out. If they weren't on sale, I'd much rather save my points to see what else they will be adding to the available rewards. Who knows when that will happen though? "not all we have planned. [More] on the horizon." Sounds pretty vague to me which likely means at least a few months from now.

Reverence seems the most useful out of the bunch and hence it is the one I'll be getting. Call of the sea is a close second though. It is strange that they'd make Reverence that useful one after how much of a hit prayer potions have already taken in price in the past couple months.

I wish they just made all the rewards completely cosmetic only. Even with the tiny bonuses these auras give, I'd much rather have one of them instead of a cosmetic item.

it's really a way to keep members paying. even if they do not play, they may keep paying the monthly membership to accumulate points.

I got Call of the Sea and it seems to work alright, but I heard someone say it doesn't stack with a fishing familiars bonus so idk?

I picked up Knockout as well. Wishing I would have chosen Reverence instead. The only thing knockout seems to be good for is those annoying times when you have the monster down to almost no hit point's, but because of dumb luck you hit a zero half a dozen times in a row, lol.

Come to think of it, that could come in real handy against Mith Dragons. There's lot's of time when I had a mith dragon down to almost no hit points, then hit zero's for several strikes in a row. A guaranteed knockout for that last few hitpoint's is kinda handy for the high level mobs so you don't have to waste time, food, prayer, on zero's.

I believe knockout either hits 0 or all, so you can still fail an attack. That's taking the p if you ask me, but whatever.

As long as the mob is down to 10% or less hit points, a Knockut is a guaranteed kill, there are no failed attacks.

Oh, ok, I'd just read this:
Ascensia wrote:
I got the Knock-out aura as I am constantly doing slayer. And it really does suck. As mentioned above it only works when you would have killed the thing anyway. But what is really terrible about this thing is that you can still hit a zero! the "kill-shot" effect only happens if you hit the mob in the first place.

But I guess he was mistaken.

I missed the sale, so I didn't get anything :(

I got oddball, which changes dwarf cannon ammo into stupid things, like brains. I don't know really know why I bought this, probably for cosmetic purposes.

:P
