^ maybe, that's what every body says but then, bot companies may know how to get around it anyway. Good way would be to change the java value or whatever for npcs. Every few days, they change. may slow them down.

I may be missing something but how do you know these people were banned and didn't just change their names? Do the hiscores redirect you to the new name?

I'm sure he thought of that! Temporarily add the loser and see if he's holding a new name, easy!

Yes if any one appears to be banned ill add them to see if they changed their name, look on the first page, there were a few name changes.

we should have the ability to throw tomatoes at people who we believe are bots. only way to get rid of it, is to go into the equip armor screen and click the clean up button. those who stay red for long periods of time are bots. if they are not bots, they are stupid people anyway.

Or Jagex could create an army that goes to places where bots frequently train at. This army should be able to kill all bots in the area. So what if it's genocide, it's a necessary genocide, blood oils the wheels of revolution!

They kind of have something like this but they don't kill the bots, they just report them >.>

I know, I used to play the game haha. But obviously according to this and years of evidence reporting them isn't working. My way is very radical but I could see it working.

I'm sure they could easily make the cleaning bottable XD

Anyways for those asking for people to go to training areas and then ban all the bots, I hope you get banned in one of those sweeps because I can foresee so many nonbotters getting banned in that mess. People go to training areas these days and assume everyone there are bots, or who ever doesn't talk back is a bot. I don't answer them ahahah. Not saying that I don't think maybe a lot of them are bots but some (a lot) of people make huge assumptions as to who is botting so I assume it's kind of hard for the people answering the reports with so many people going to train and seeing someone else there "wc lvl? bot?" - no answer, reports. At least in 2007 they all had the default kit l0l

A Bot = profit for them because bots still buy membership right? Jagex is a lot more money hungry then they've ever been maybe that's why....

Jagex could care less if people botted, they just want there 5 Bucks per person that they get. And what most botters do is make accounts, train them, then sell them. Therefore someone actually playing on the acc. Jagex's state of mind? = Idgaf

Cool. Sacrifice your account. Sacrifice your time. Sacrifice your members money. Please don't sacrifice my account to lowering the botting levels... you know, because, well for one, I wont be there to enjoy it and it's not at all a worthy cause. For two, I didn't put all the time I have into my account (+ members) just to get banned in a war on bots. Otherwise I might as well had just botted anyways. I'd have a much better account for a lot less time.
I'm sure many people are for any means necessary to get rid of bots except if they get caught in it, well that's a different story. And the people complaining about doing anything to get rid of bots are probably all for it until they do get rid of them and they will start complaining about how expensive everything is and stuff. To get one thing there are negatives attached. Limiting bots in the first place got rid of free trade. Bringing back free trade brought back bots. Getting rid of bots will increase prices. So just enjoy it how it is. Yeah sure complain about the nuances (did i spell the right word?XD) but don't support solutions where innocents are burdened. It's not like it would be dieing for the freedom of your country... even when your freedom isn't threatened.

I answered like your were serious in your reply even if you were joking.
