new aura

which aura did you guys get if you did, and how do you like it.

i wanted to try out the knock out aura.

^knock out aura SUCKS!
only good if you're doing massive slaying and you did not get that slayer reward yet.
i only see it go into effect, in the last 60 hp or so. which by that time, a regular hit would have finished it off.

I got reverence. It's kinda nice for when I have a Slayer task I need/want to pray on. It'd also be good for bossing and such. I've heard that Sharpshooter and Runic Accuracy are decent for niche uses, but I don't think any of the other ones would be worth it.
At least they've said that they're going to make more.

I got the reverence aura as well, and I am pretty happy about it. I did a few slayer tasks where I used it and the slower drain was very noticeable.

I got surefooted, which prevents you from failing from obstacles on agility courses. I suppose its useful for 20min, but then there's the 2hr wait to recharge.

I was going to get that one, but I rarely fail at Ape Toll so I decided not to.

knock out needs a buff...

it's basically the same damage i would do with my last hit. this bites.

I got the Knock-out aura as I am constantly doing slayer. And it really does suck. As mentioned above it only works when you would have killed the thing anyway. But what is really terrible about this thing is that you can still hit a zero! the "kill-shot" effect only happens if you hit the mob in the first place.

I got the Reverence I was considering the Agility one or Fishing one but decided to go with that one. It's quite good it makes me use a couple less Prayer Pots in a slayer task where I need them. (E.g: I normally use 3 Prayer Potions on a Black Demon task load of Infernal Ashes. With it activated I use 2)

I got reverence, and although I wasn't focusing exclusively on how it did, I noticed no difference at all in my prayer drain or pots. Pfsh. Also, I was disappointed that the timer is real time, not game time. So if you activate it then have to log out, it runs out while you are not even in game. It also charges while you aren't in game, though, so that might make up for it.

I chose Call of the Sea aura which increases your chance of catching fish for 1 hour with a 3 hour cool down time. I'm mostly a skiller and fishing is tedious and slow for me. Usually I can only stand fishing for 1 hour or so at a time before I feel like I need to do something else. I thought that I would get the most benefit from using this aura, along with my fishing urns, granite lobsters and admiral pie to increase my fishing xp gain. I have yet to try it out yet. Goes to show how motivated I am about fishing.

I also got Reverence, not that noticeable really. It does stack with the effects of the holy wrench, maybe I'll try it with that eventually.

I chose reverence because it had one of the biggest discounts out of the auras I wanted. I don't really need surefooted since I have 99 agility.

Meh. I missed out on the sales because I don't get more reward points until July 28th :/

Are the auras a one time use only thing?
