Phree Stoof from Jagex

Some of you may remember back at the end of March, Jagex had a little competition whereby they were asking for photos of players wearing their RuneScape T-shirts bought from the Jagex Store. They said if you were to send in a picture, and it was good enough, they may send you some extra goodies. Well, it was quite funny that just a couple of days before that announcement I had actually taken a picture of myself wearing my RS T-shirt and cap that I had sent to my nephew.

I thought, what the heck, I'll send my picture into the competition for fun, just to see if I get any response.

Lo and behold, today when I got home, there was a package from England... from Jagex! I thought to myself: "No, it couldn't be!" Sure enough. Phree Stoof!

Guess what I got? A black Bandos Hoodie, an awsome mouse pad with a Castle Wars graphic on it and a colour postcard of Zanik. Wow! Awesome!!!!!

Thank you Jagex. I'm so happy! That just made my day :lol:

Pretty cool. Nice little competition they did. Though I personally like the old Jagex store better when they had aloooooot more items.

^ Well, no I'm sorry... not at this time. I'm not really ready to reveal a real life picture of myself. But, when I do, that will be the picture I will post.

Nope, no message. And, on the official RS forums I noticed that several other people entered the same contest and also got the same stuff at about the same time. I'm not sure how many people submitted pictures for the contest, but I think anyone who did, probably received the bag of "goodies". Would have been fantastic if a JMod would have written a little note of congratulations on the back of the postcard. Oh well, I'm still very appreciative of the gifts.

I just did some research on the hoodie. It is a limited edition hoodie commemorating The Chosen Commander quest which was the 150th Quest. There were only 2000 of these made, and were at one time for sale from the Jagex store, but no longer. This is now another real life "rare" that I own, to add to my collection. The other rare is the classic black RuneScape ball cap, which I bought just before the Jagex store changed owners and the stock was no longer available. W00T! Epic procurement of epic, rare, RS loot of legit epicness! LOL
