i was talking to mike tonight, and i told him i was going to watch a chinese movie my dad got.
i told him about the first 2 movies and i showed him this.

back story

Japan has invaded Mainland China where this movie takes place. The Japanese General of the area has a martial arts school to prove that Japanese Martial Arts are better than Chinese Martial Arts. Main character goes into the arena and just witness his one of his friends die by a shot to the head and now he wants revenge.

Enjoy one of the most awesome Kung Fu scenes in history!

That was awesome. I love Kung Fu movies. This has some legit action going on.

Not only have I seen this movie countless times, I am also a practitioner of the style. I don't often like to brag, but in this case, I apologize that I can't help myself.

See, THIS is Kung Fu. Sure, flying back-flips and back-and-forth choreography looks awesome in context, but this movie demonstrates it when it's real. Of course, there still is choreography, but when you get absorbed into the movie, you don't even see it.

Oh, and that isn't even the best of the fights.

^ sadly that quality is horrid. should see the 3rd part where he fights the real ip man's son as a child. although some parts are cut to hell, it is still funny.
