Sorry star trek online. You lose in the space department. That looks awesome. I can fully understand why they decided to keep it on rails because that doesn't look like standard, slow paced boring MMO number crunching combat that looks fast paced, action packed and exciting. And ok i will admit the fanboy is coming out because those sound effects were very very good.

I cannot waitt for this to launch from the space combat to the leaked questsit looks like big improvements on the standard MMO structure.

It's amazing how much voice acting makes the difference the quests seem much more involving than KILL TEN RATS.

Looks a little rough, but pretty awesome otherwise. Perhpas if they threw in some barrel roll capabilities and the chance to fly bigger ships. But pickers can't be choosers. Space combat has always fascinated me and I'd love to see how well this will turn out when it gets released.

That rail system sort of looked "meh". I would of preferred a system where they combined the space game-play from SWG with the stuff they are planning to do here, because space game-play is the one thing SWG did right IMO.

It works for the ground combat. Which is fairly standard in KOTOR. But when I'm flying a ship i want lots of noise and explosions and fast moving ships. I think I'm in the minority on this but the lich king vehicle quests bored me silly..they took to long, they was way to slow and it was just number chrunching throughout.

A lot of people aren't happy about the on-rails system, but I don't see why. To me an action packed/cinematic space game that serves as yet another feature in an already robust online game is simply awesome. I mean, honestly just go play TIE Fighter if TOR's space combat is really enough to convince you that the game won't be any good.

I have to admit though...if they had left space out initially and released a full fledged expansion later on down the line (one with great open battlefields and the same amount of cinematic immersion) I wouldn't be complaining...at all.

People are tards when it comes to MMO's everyone has there own image. Like free roam space when bioware said...nothing of the sorts. So why people are outraged is beyond me till they announced it they was getting no space combat at all. Bioware has said they plan to expand on it post launch but that's always going to come down to how well the game does financially.
