I was wondering what the fastest exp for a level 50 would be without losing money, because with trees you lose like 100m to 99

thanks

herbs are a great way to make money, you could use the profit you make from your herbs to buy the tree seeds.

You might try a combination of herb/marigold runs and tree runs. Use the money made with the herb seeds to buy tree seeds. That should be the fastest way without losing money.

Yeah doing toadflax/kwuarms + marigolds for herb runs and using willows + supercompost would be pretty good xp. You might even end up making money that way. You can try out maples also if you have enough money.

you should definetly consider doing maple/pineapple/calquat when you can, in between these runs, you should definetly do multiple herb/marigold runs. GL

Generally what you want to do is whatever wood tree you're currently able to do and the accompanying fruit tree. At the lower levels this is nice and inexpensive. Later on supplement it by herb farming.

Do not stand at the patch waiting for your things to grow!!!

Do willow trees, and if you use apple trees along with it, you save money on the willow payment. It's my method, and doesn't exactly break the bank either. It's also really fast, I've gotten about 60 farming levels in less than a month by doing trees. Of course, also do herbs but you have to be a lot more diligent in looking after them. It's just easier to get the stuff for trees, to be honest. Make sure you keep in mind the timers and how often things grow, and you can just come back once in a while to reap the rewards and replant whatever it is you're doing.

If you combine farming with slayer or other money-making methods, you'll at least break even without sacrificing speed. You should also do quests which give farming experience as a reward, the early fairy ones are especially good for this.

Good luck in training! It's not a difficult skill once you get into a rhythm, it just takes perseverance and a bit of time management. :P
