Christ has nothing to do with this holiday in my mind...
Let me list these two reasons...
1. Jesus' birthday is never mentioned in the bible, look for it I dare you.
So? The Christians decided to celebrate it on an arbitrary date. Obviously they can, if they want to! Quite how that shows "Christ has nothing to do with this holiday" you don't explain.

2. Around the time of jesus being "Born", the pagans were the only people who really celebrated birthdays, and it continued for this for quite some time.
Some evidence for this curious claim would seem appropriate!

The Christians and Catholics actually stole the holiday from the pagans
How do you 'steal' a holiday? Stick it under your coat?

considering December 25th was celebrated as the birthday of the pagan gods Mithras, Attis, and Sol. (There may be a few more)
No ancient source records Dec. 25 being celebrated (by whom?) as the birthday of Attis or Mithras. Dec 25 was the winter solstice, so metaphorically it was the (re)birth of the sun, but then it isn't the rebirth of Jesus, is it?
These sorts of "facts" are widely circulated. But if you start checking, you'll shocked at how much rubbish there is on this subject.

Sure. The establishment don't mind anyone ***** on the Christians. Now if you were posting about Islam, you'd need to be scared. But Christians? Let 'em have it.

While I do celebrate christmas for the sole reason of... It's a **** family holiday
Seems reasonable to me.

But ending my statements, Christ has nothing to do with this holiday, praise the pagans!
Sure. We're going to celebrate it as Aztecs. Do come along; we need a volunteer...
