A very angry 6'2", 240lb man has decided to take out his anger on a small 'rainforest' until Infinity Ward "fixes the camping problem in Modern Warfare 2" or until they "give an e-mail or video response" about them fixing it.

Pretty **** funny, but I can't help but to feel the dude's pain. I know what it's like being camped in Modern Warfare 2. It's pretty **** infuriating to say the least. CoD4 was 50x better than MW2. Nobody camped in CoD4, and even if they did, we took them out quickly and effectively until they left/stopped camping. Now it's if you kill them, they go back in the same **** spot over again.

But whatever. Here's the videos.

EDIT: Sorry about the videos not being viewable. I have to put the links to the videos.

It brings nothing but a big smile to my face and a warm fuzzy feeling knowing this game is irritating people and isn't being as well received in the gaming community as the 4th. Good. :D

*goes back to TF2 with it's balanced multiplayer, free updates, no campers (well alright engineers), Lack of cheaters/glitchers (they fixed the **** javelin yet? What about the perk glitch?), overall better community AND support for it's community and not ignoring them like IW has done in the past and continues to do cause there a bunch of tossers.* ;D

///fanboy

Oh right the videos. Funny..tho i can't help but think that guy is a bit to old to be going to those extremes.

A patch came out for PS3/360 yesterday morning that fixed the Javelin glitch, the Infinite care Package glitch. No idea what you're talking about with the Perk Glitch.

I agree that TF2 is a prefect game, and I'd rather play MW2 that is perfectly balanced like TF2 is. But beggars can't be choosers I suppose.

Until more people are playing cod 4 than mw2, IW will not care.\

One thing i think is funny is that they didn't change the M16, which is what everybody complained about in cod 4, and nobody complains about it now.

In reality, camping only really works in certain modes. It is fairly easy to combat IF you have good teammates to play with. That is why I rarely play by myself. With some teamwork and choice of gametype it really isn't that hard.

If only they would fix riot shield boosting. I could care less about campers so long as they fix glitches and exploits that allow boosting.

For those of us who weren't around in CoD4 long enough to know, there were plenty of campers when CoD4 was first released. As the game got older and the more hardcore players stuck around, the frequency of campers greatly reduced.

Yeah, camping sucks, but if you play with a team if friends camping becomes extremely ineffective as a means of winning. Even by yourself, it really only works once and then if they are dumb enough to go back you can just rack up the kills on them.

Camping really comes with any shooter game. I know it sucks and I hate it to and use it myself. I fact of the matter is there's really nothing you can do about it. So top complaining, man up, and make a nice head shot on the noob to move on with your life and prove the point. 8)

You know..I'm not one to gloat. Okay i am so i take great pleasure in saying the following;

You know this sort of ******* didn't happen in other, cheaper games. My copy of Halo: ODST that i got for £30 is bug free. My copy of TF2 that i picked up for £13 or so is bug free.

In fact the only time i find such idiotic bugs like the one above that REALLY should of been caught or avoided is on cheap budget games. Ho humm.

edit: You know what? IGNORE what i just wrote..this guy puts it in a much better way:
Kotaku poster wrote:
Thanks Bobby Kotick, Microsoft, and all the hard workers at Infinity Ward!

After paying extra for a premium multiplayer service and an engorged amount for a single player game, I feel it was worth the price.

It's clear to see that the extra £10 has gone to providing a ROCK SOLID multiplayer experience with a massive amount of maps and options. It's clear to see that with the extra pricing, extra effort had gone into match making so all the level 30 people can play with those that have entered the prestidge mode half a dozen times.

I love how balanced the weapon selections are, especially with your decision to create Dual Sniper Shotguns and a Suicide Bomber option.

I love the fact that the mp experience, even over my 8meg internet line is never laggy, and I've never once been dragged backwards through a map.

I'm also happy to see that you've made your best efforts to put a halt to lag switchers, and that the game never grinds to a halt when my team is on the cusp of victory.

Thankyou for putting this game through such rigorous testing before release.

Thanks for putting all that hardwork into a new engine, that isn't suceptable to all the same exploits as your last wonderful game.

I really feel that all this was worth paying that extra 20% price wise compared with everything else.

After this Juggernaut entertainment release, how could I ever consider going back to Bad Company, or waiting for it's sequel? I certainly won't want to be playing that glitchy unbalanced and completely unsupported since release Halo 3! Hell no!

And most of all thanks for letting me be bent over and **** in the *** by you all like a drunk cheer leader at a frat party, Best £40 I ever spent!

I hope you're all as grateful as this guy. I'm happy i was proven wrong and i can see now that the price increase was money well spent.

OH OH OH AND AND! It also needs to be said tho it's pretty obvious; This wouldn't be happening if the game had dedicated servers. Sorry what was the excuse against IW? You wanted to make it easier for people to play? How is a game full of cheats and bugs easier for the average joe?

As much as I loved CoD 4, they FUBAR'd this one.

-Horrible matchmaking - I can't even get into a game with a party of friends without dropping half of them.

-Killstreaks - This was a cool idea, but the only thing it ended up doing was encouraging every ****** who wants a nuke to camp like a **** little ***** (the point of this thread).

-Glitched rooms - 9v9 on Rust anyone?

-Tubes - Still not removed from the game, and therefore still a problem.

-The 1887 shotgun - While the range may be realistic, they are overpowered beyond belief. They might as well have made them the only weapon in the game.

They should just call it Call of Duty: Modern Explosives, Ancient Shotguns, and Camping ****.

There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. Still, why take it out on a forest that doesn't even know what MW2 is let alone an XBox? I think he's going about this all wrong. He should instead camp outside Ubisoft's headquarters in a tent with a bunch of water balloons and just hit people as they pass by. Seems to get the message across much better.

I got my developer's mixed up. Sorry about that. I meant Infinity Ward. I usually notice Ubisoft over any other game developers. Must be that I play a lot of Ubisoft games. :P

That would do nothing but get the guy a court date.

And I love the people that just complain about video games they haven't even played. It's a video game, meant for fun. Not to just sit around and complain about. It's fine that you don't play it but it just gets annoying after reading the 9001 complaints about the SAME game. We get it.

Everybody in this thread with the exception of perhaps duke (sorry i dont have your GT or know if you have one) has played it. I'm pretty sure the dude in the youtube video has as well. So I don't follow.
