Some New Sigs (Kind of a Gallery)

Captain America
Had fun making this. It was an experement, pretty much. Used no tutorials, but I did use techniques that I learned from different tutorials. First ever sig of mine posted on RSBandB.

Fullmetal Alchemist
Pretty much the exact same thing as the Captain America one, but to be honest, that signature really wasn't that good. This one is a lot better. I used two different renders for the sig, while the Captain America one I only used one.

Undead
I used the same method as the other two. I just HAD to make this signature when I saw the render. The render is soooo badass. Behind the text is a golden dragon head.

This one was pretty difficult to do, I had trouble finding a stop for the text, and it took a while for me to get the Msster Sword in the right spot. I really like the turnout of this one. Took me a while to make, I'm not used to having the render on the right.

Rate, Constructive Criticism, Tips, etc. please. Thanks.

They are of a good style, I like the first one best. One thing I really don't like is the 'by Steven' thing in huge writing on the signature. Maybe a little bit of text in the corner to signify that it's made by you but it shouldn't be a focal point in the signature.

Alright, I'll go and fix it up a bit. I have some ideas as on what I can do.

I also made a few other ones, so I'll edit the topic with them later on.

I think the last 2 are pretty good. Like i said on msm i like the brightness to them. For some reason the alchemist one stands out to me but the undead one is equally good. Vwelcome bauckkkkk

I really liked making that Fullmetal Alchemist one, I like the fist on the right.

Added in a new signature, still working on the Undead one. Trying to find a good spot for the text...

EDIT: Fixed every signature, took away the glossy bar the text was on and moved the text to a different spot.

I like/prefer the bottom sig in each of the different selections. Hope that makes sense.

So you like v3 on the Captain America, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Undead signatures, and v2 of the Link signature?

I actually don't like the V3s as much as the V2s. I didn't like how you made the background darker and stand out. i.e. IMO the dragon head on the undead one looks better when it was lighter and sort of "secondary".

Just my opinion though, they still look great.

So did I, but I discussed with Sev on MSN about all of them, he said they're all too bright. I went and made them all darker, because I didn't like all of them so bright, and only the Undead one looks ugly when it's darker. I like the dragon head in the background brighter, too.

Yep, I guess it did make sense.

V2 of the first three just seem like they're missing something imo.

Yeah they all look better with the mass of text on them. I agree with you about the Undead one looking better lighter and I also agree with Zac that they mostly look better darker.

I made a v4 of the Undead signature. Made it really dark.
I also made a v3 of the Link signature, made the handle of the Master Sword darker on the left, made the border 2px instead of 1px, and made Link darker.
