Ok so a month now I have been trying to sell my 2 month old Xbox 360 Elite.
Which does not help because of the price cut.
Selling

Xbox 360 Elite .
With Halo 3 , Fable 2 and Dead Rising.
Comes with 1 wireless remote and an Live Headset.
I am asking $325.

It seems fair to me since I only used it for 1 month and paid it all myself.
Taking a $150 loss for 1 month of play :?

Nobody is offering to buy it but I do keep getting offers for a trade for Ps3's from a few people.
But hate Playstations.

Do you think I'm asking too much or something?

I will not go below $300..
( dang price cut )

299 for elite now
- 50 for used
+ 20 for each game
so 309
yeah 309 seems like a good price to me

It might just be that people don't have the money to spend on it.

I think people arent buying it because they can get such good bundles from stores that there's no point buying a used one with used games when you can get a new one with a new game for similiar or less price.

Your asking to much. Nobody knows or cares how long you've had it for they can get a second hand elite much cheaper in a store.

Seems like a good price too me. When I buy used systems I look for how long they have had it. Smart Shoppers do. got the receipt to prove it
What about just $300 dollars?

I need to sell so I am willing to sell it for 300 just so I can get rid of the dang thing.

360 is worthless =P But seriously either keep it or sell it for cheaper - stores sell it higher because of mark-up prices (profit), usually something like 10%? So $270 sounds about normal with the games included like a bonus. I'm not sure about exact mark-up but used systems should always be lower than retail price for a new system.

Good luck selling that thing - I'd personally take a PS3, preferably slim =/

But it's...not a good price. I don't see how you can think it's a good price.

Heres a 360 elite brand new with two brand new games for the price your asking.

And here is used X360 Elites like yours being sold on ebay:

Doesn't matter what YOU payed for it originally, tech gets old and it goes down in price. Reality is if you buy a console and plan to sell it on down the road you need to expect to take a big hit unless your buying it up day one and selling it on to desperate people then you're likely to get rich.

By all means if you want to sell it for $300 go for it, if you can manage it more power to you. But i think in reality it's more the $200 mark perhaps $220.

Dead Rising - $10
Fable II - $20
Halo 3 - $20
360 Elite + stuff - $250

Somewhere around $300 is a fair asking price. You could definitely sell them individually for those prices on Amazon.

Wth!, I knew of the 100. price drop but I paid 450. so it droped 150! I thought it was just 100 like it said.
So in 1 1/2 months it drops 150 bucks on me.
****, i'm broke.

To be fair though the elite had been at a steady price for a long time..you was just unfortunate and bought around the time they decided to drop it. Just don't buy a wii for a bit that's going to get a drop soon. :P

Dragons pricing is actually pretty accurate amazon wise. Lots selling for those prices Which is surprising cause that's far over priced in my book. Might want to try there you might luck out.

Of course its going to seem like a fair price to you, your the one selling it.

You need to make it cheap enough people will buy used over a brand new never used one.

I'd say $200.
