Yes. It was half a file that was deleted. It was a CS project, had 90 minutes to get it working. Luckily I was one of three in the class who actually handed something in

But on a more serious note, I have time machine now and feel protected

I also keep hourly backups of anything mission critical that I'm working on that can't be easily replaced.
