My post count has magically decreased by 90, so I'm just wondering out of curiousity if some forums have recently become no post count.

I've got a few messages about this so here's the definitive answer:
No, you're not seeing things :P A while back we did a post count resync. What this means is that the forums recount all posts that are in forums that currently have post count. Post count going down can be caused by having posts removed to our archive area or having posts inside a forum that was modified to have no post count.
