Remember when you were a noob?

I remember when I created my first account in June 2005, I knew nothing about the whole game.
Somehow I found my way on the road in between Falador and Barbarian Village (where the steps are).
There, I found a level 2 man who I proceeded to kill for about 4 hours collecting all the coins drops I got.
I probably ended up with around 750gp.
I think that's all I did for the first 3 days I played.

Now, I think about this every time I travel from Barbarian Village to Falador.

The first time I played RuneScape I remember trying to kill a giant spider behind Lumbridge Castle. It was the first thing I killed off of tutorial island and it was really hard. I remember slowly dying and screaming at my brother who had been playing for a week or so. I was almost about to die and he kept telling me to run away. I clicked to leave but I was only walking and couldn't get away. I never did find where the run button was and ended up dying. I cried because I lost my tutorial island items, but a nice man named Touch_of_Poo picked them up and traded them back.

I added him as my first friend and to this day is my RS friend.

I also remember watching a friend cut yew logs and then asking if I could have one because my brother wanted to burn it. (It was a lie) Of course, he was level 80 and I was level 12 so he gave me one. I sold it to the general store for 60gp and was shocked. It was so much money. I instantly began to woodcut because after every inventory of yew logs, I could sell them to the general store and have enough money to buy 1 staff from Zaff. I eventually got 2 of each staff and 10k GP. It was a moment I still remember. I fell in love with woodcutting and I am level 99 now.

I remember when i used to merchant by buying full mithril, I merchanted up to 80k and i thought i was rich, then with 1 set, 1 guy did the rune long scam and i only had 60k then, i quit for 2 weeks because i thought i would never make the money back

I remember immediatly dieing after tutorial island to a cow and losing everything I had. after that I tried to get goblin platebodies and sell them to the general store in hopes of making millions.

Lol. isn't this like the topic i made about what did you do when u first left tutorial island....

anyway, When i was a noob, i had to constantly ask people to help me on quests because at that time, i didnt know what they were or how to do them.
