Windows 7 RC1 - RuneScape HQ

I'm having trouble loading RuneScape in the High Quality Version in Windows 7 RC1.
HQ and fullscreen works fine for me when booting into Vista Home Premium.

I've already checked for windows updates.
I have a Radeon x600, I downloaded and installed a driver from (http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/w ... .1.3.19&lang=English).
^^Note: It says the download is for vista, but you get to it by specifying Windows 7.^^
I've tried both Firefox and IE.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Though I've not had any problems with using Vista drivers, it's possible that because you're using a legacy device, it just won't work.

Do you have the full support of your graphics card (high resolutions, Aero, etc) otherwise, or does that not seem to work either?

Aero as well as any other high res graphics I've used seems to work just fine; seems to be only RuneScape giving me the problem.
It just doesn't make sense to me that HQ could work perfectly on Vista and not on 7.

That is odd that everything else is working, but RuneScape isn't. I got a bit curious, so I started Googling and came up with this.

Apparently quite a few people are having issues with both Ubuntu 9.04 and Windows 7 when trying to use RuneScape high quality mode. Here's a RuneScape forum link to a similar issue.

I re-checked for your driver and ended up at the same page. Unfortunately, I'd like to make sure you've seen the cop-out by ATI regarding your GPU and Windows 7,

Hmmm interesting find Pfkninenines, thanks for your help. I suppose it's about time for me to get a new card anyway.
