What's the worst weather situation you've ever been in?

I live in England. We don't get extreme weather conditions. The great storm of 1987 was the last big one. Rather funny too cause the weather men didn't see it coming. XD Caught a lot of people totally off guard.

Had some pretty bad snow once though and the car kept sliding along even after the breaks went on. That was rather dangerous at the time.

Same except i don't live in Canada all we really get here are thunderstorms and sometimes bad wind and hail, the lucky ones.

but there was one year we had, what was more snow then usual, we got 13ft of snow over 3 days, school was closed for a week =D>

down here in florida we got hit with alot of bad hurricanes im not sure wich one but the area was flooded and are screen 'in' padio collapsed on our pool

Nothing much has happened for the past years here. Worst is probably watching lightning struck a tree and it snapped in half, pretty cool though.

I remember when there was a tornado in Birmingham not too long ago.

I don't think it will ever get worse than that around here.

2 years ago at a boyscout summer camp, there was a mediocre tornado ( F3 I think). Since there where no buildings ( except for the staff one ) they put my troop under a pavilion in the middle of field. But get this, after they got my troop under there, all the staff members sprinted inside as fast as they could, and we were under that pavilion for I think a little over an hour and honestly, now most tornados are nothing to me.

I waited for the bus for 30 minutes at -45 degree celcius (-49 degree fahrenheit)
It was icy lol...But nothiing too terrible.

Massachusetts hasn't gotten a natural disaster in like a hundred years.
but there was an ice storm that knocked down a lot of cable lines and people went without power for a week.
all the streets around us lost power but we stayed up.
