i got prototype for the pc... i think the game so far is overated. it's nice to have a lot of those fancy moves but all the enemy dies so quickly. haven't gotten really far yet so maybe there will be tougher enemies. the people of newyork... idiots. now in assassin's creed at least the crowd had emotions. i can be jumping off a building, land on my feet etc and the people just stare. the drivers are idiots, my god there was a whole neighborhood of taxis. soo many taxis, hell i was walking downtown and i swear, the cars stopped at an intersection but there was no street light. maybe things will change as i advance.

the story. remember the videos we saw, basically you play the past into the the present.

I figure activision will release 3 of these games next year all being similiar. So with that i opted to buy red faction 3 instead. Can't say i regret it especially after reading your post.

I hear theres gamestop adverts up around the city. Is it over the top or does it blend in well with the city?

i honesly haven't seen any ads. i'm too much going from rooftop to rooftop. i think it would be a better game if they added more depth into the combat area. although it's fun to throw stuff and drive a tank around the city (which makes you wonder... if you're driving around with a tank, i can crush everything in my way, but if i fire 1 bullet the military is on my ***)

Glad I didn't buy it now. Sorry you wasted your money on a bad game Trekkie, taking one for the team :D

If it has easy achievements I may order it on GameFly.

@Josec: I don't know anywhere that rents pc games.

I remember seeing the promo vid for this a while ago and it looked pretty awesome. Graphics wise, the zombies (or whatever they're considered) are pretty different, and the overall gameplay looked to be fun. Not sure if I'll be getting it though, it seems a bit too complex to become a favorite everyday game.

Well I bought [PROTOTYPE] yesterday. Personally, I love it.

In a way, it's kind of a more gruesome version of Spiderman: a person gets mutated, he tries to help the world with his powers, police are after him, etc etc.

It can get kind of repetitive at times, but there's something about running up buildings and jumping 100 ft in the air that doesn't get old.

Lol, just kidding.
I was planning to rent it yesterday, but they were all gone :(
It is on my 'Must get' list, but I think I should try it first, I'm going to check if a demo is avalivable on PSN.

I've heard comments it's more like a reskinned version of the incredble hulk..which the same dev released uh last year i think.

They made The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, which was released in 2005. I guess it's easy to confuse since a game called "The Incredible Hulk" was released last year.

I played it for about an hour at a friend's house the other day. The freedom of movement is really really cool, but of course, the storyline is really weird.

Another thing I find funny is how he's trying to save the world, yet he randomly goes around ripping apart random innocent civilians (aside from the ones connected to the case)
