Id probably get in one of those really, really big hot air balloons that can carry lots of weight. Stay a decent height off the ground. Weapons? Shotgun is the best. It's destructive enough it can rip apart multiple zombies in one shot.
If not an air balloon, then I'd probably go into the school band room. It has 8 1/2 thick metal doors with heavy locks, a large locker room to store supplies in, and 3 foot thick walls. The room was designed to withstand hurricanes. Plus if zombies do manage to get in, I can go up the 20 foot staircase onto a large balcony. The balcony is big enough I would be able to keep a large amount of supplies on it. Plus there are a lot of vending machines outside the band room so I'd be able to smash the glass/plastic windows and get food and beverages. The cafeteria is two doors down so if theirs a lull in the zombies attacks I'd have time to microwave some food.
Another advantage to the band room, is its full of instruments and other objects, like metal music stands and chairs. I could use these to build barricades. Drum sets would make easily mobile cover/shields. Music stands can be used as a large blunt weapon. Its no chainsaw or bat, but is you start swinging a music stand you can do some damage.
If worst comes to worse I can use the ladder that is kept up on the balcony to get up into the vents. Then pull the ladder up so it doesn't get knocked over if I need to get down.
If I was able to lock the school doors or prevent zombies from entering somehow, Id roll as many cafeteria tables into the band room as possible. I'm sure they would have some use whether it be keeping supplies on them (no use fumbling on the floor when you need some ammo

) or maybe barricades stacked in front of the door, or turned on their side to create a low wall. Id probably bring weights from the weightlifting room into the band room. Those can be used to reinforce barriers, create heavy barriers, or send one or two tumbling down the balcony's stairs to stop a zombie from getting up, or a small horde at least.
People? Well I'd probably get my close family, the local ones. I'm not going three states over looking for someone who may be dead. Besides them I would go for certain people. I would need to find people who are smart, but can also aim and shoot. If I could have anyone in the world, I would probably bring in some sort of military general. Someone who would be able to keep order, and still keep our defenses up.
From there just hold off zombies as long as we can. If were going to get overrun, we just climb up into the vents with as many supplies as we can take, and then move to a new location in the school, get on the roof, or just leave altogether.
Having a rest schedule would be hard. I'd like to have at least 10 people, preferably 12. Then 5-6 people could always be defending us while the others rest. If need be we could divide into groups of 3 or 4 so everyone could rest more often by having overlapping shifts. It would depend how tough the zombies are.
Ya I got this **** planned out.

It actually came up at lunch two days ago and this was my plan.
Realistically, either bullet to brain, or have someone else kill me. I don't think I could go through the stress of fighting off hundreds, or even thousands of zombies.
