I use a program similar today on my vista sidebar thing. It's called CPU usage meter. Does all the same stuff though.

Let's you know how much work your computer is doing. If it is doing too much work, then you can tell if your computer is having problems.

oh wow, that's harsh for vista. In the podcast Shane says you need at LEAST 2 gb to run it at a decent Speed. You might want to put XP on that or something

I can't vouch for Shane, but I know I've said that about Vista. It really is a ***** going back to XP once you're used to Vista, and the same thing goes for Windows 7.

Or he could just add more RAM. Not only would it be cheaper, it would make the system a bit more up to par with normal setups. 1GB on a new machine is very low - I've seen Netbooks come with more standard than that.

All the netbooks I looked at had 2Gb of ram, all but one atleast. But theyre so tiny, how could you enjoy that.

They were higher end netbooks though.

Edit: If rainmeter didn't show my IP address I may use it. Is there away to disable the visible IP address?

At the top of the link to the rainmeter it says 'cutomisable' that means you probably can it's just you'd have to read the read me or whatever.
