The Pokemon cartoon series has caused hysteria among kids, teenagers, and adults. The Pokemon games have caused hysteria among everybody all of the aforementioned. Well, Pokemon will cause hysteria once again as it is now official that a couple of Pokemon remakes will hit the streets this fall. It has been long rumored and expected, however, the Pokemon Gold and Silver will be reviewed and with the special occasion of the tenth anniversary, Nintendo DS fans will get their hands on the remakes.The Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul Silver will be available this fall for Nintendo DS users, an event which will bring massive joy to all Pokemon fans. I remind you that Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver were sold in about 23 million copies around the world, and these remakes should sell at least as much as the original games.This is not the first time we see Pokemon remakes as a while ago, the Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green were reviewed, and Gameboy Advance received Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green.

I found it pretty funny when i heard considering i think every pokemon game is practically a remake anyway with another 100 monsters thrown in.

I'd have prefered they did something original with the franchise, bring it to consoles properly.

I think what he meant was:
Every new game is a recycled game. It just has more 100 pokemons and new towns. The storyline is practically the same, with you trying to get to the pokemon league by collecting badges and fighting an evil team (Rocket, Magma, Aqua, and I can't remember D/P one

).

I'm not saying I don't like it. I try to follow every game on the handled consoles and I enjoy playing it since Blue came out for the Game boy.

EDIT: ****, forgot to go on topic: Yep i'm happy to see they're remaking gold/silver just like they did to red/blue

Naa i meant a proper one. The ones they've released so far are rubbish cash ins. Make an open world pokemon rpg like the handheld versions.

haha people i have been talking to say that if pokemon became an MMO (how that would work is beyond me), the world would come to an end. think about pokemon fanboys carrying around master balls in real life hoping to catch that rabbit hopping in the lawn.

By RPG he means a handheld pokemon game on a console.

I wish they'd make a new game rather than remaking every game they've ever made. Next thing they'll be making remakes of remakes.

They barely do remakes they only have 2 remakes.Plus they just came out with anew game called platinum.

Well Platinum wasn't exactly new seeing as it was a remake of Diamond and Pearl but...

I am looking forward to this remake because those two games were my favorite ever and I'd love to see what add-ons they will have.

Pokemon brings the child out of me.. But I think they should just kill it.. One day, they are just going to ruin it and I will cry a little inside..
