What made you quit Runescape?

For those of you who quit Runescape, what made you quit? For me it was because gameplay was becoming unappealing to me. F2P was dull and I wasn't paying for members. And I found better things to do.

I obviously still play runescape but I quit once and that was becuase Jagex perm muted me. I only quit for about six months tho

Well, for me it was pretty much the same thing, though I would also add that it was getting a bit boring.

It certainly wasn't because of the wonderful friends I've made through my time playing the game; if it weren't for them, I might not have come back to RS and Rsbandb!

I just couldn't have fun anymore. I tried different things, but in the end, I just logged on less and less, and then I just stopped. I'd love to play if I was able to have fun, but playing a game that you don't enjoy is just stupid.

Same thing with me. I got perm muted, Stopped playing for a few months and I just got bored with other stuff so I started to play again.
I don't play as much as I did in my Prime. I'll get on few times a week still.

Just too boring really, though I used to play clan wars a lot. I think they really messed up clan wars with that update. The switches in the maps between single and multi combat zones was really annoying. Also what made clan wars fun for me was the massive pool of people that played it, and the huge battles. After I thought about it for a while I realized the more mini games that are added into runescape, the more diversified the populations in the worlds will be. Just look at it kinda like a pie chart. So eventually less and less people played clan wars and it wasnt as fun.

a little over a year ago i earned my fire cape. had completed all quests, all diaries, all sub-plots, so there was nothing left for me to do of relevance. was more interested in my arcanists clan at the time, and we left to play an mmo called "Rohan: Blood Feud" which was good enough to get me to quit rs, and for the last year i've been playing mmos with the clan i met there: RageQuit, a bunch of brutal pvpers that manage to be a major factor on any server of any game they roll, despite being rather small, and usually leaving a wake of unrest, hate, and destruction in those they pass.

and i just got sick of the game swapping, and decided to do the past years worth of updates in rs.
