I bought a PS3

I bought it a couple days ago along with Kill Zone 2.
then my uncle wasn't using Cod4 so he gave me his.

so anyone with a ps3 that has Kill Zone 2, or Cod 4 that wants to game?

oh i also beat the Kill Zone campaign on recruit lol.
story line was great.
cut scenes are awesome.
strongly recommend it.

Nice buy, although there has been a rumor floating around that the PS3 is going to see a price cut in the near future. Hope you didn't get screwed on the price

I might get a PS3 at some point if they drop the price enough, but at the moment there just aren't enough exclusives to satisfy me, and it's not really the best Blu-Ray player you can get.

If I didn't have a decent laptop, the PS3 is probably what I would have bought. Unfortunately, it's around $100 more than the other two, though there is no fee for online gaming. No RRODs either

I'd still like to see a few more awesome exclusives, but with the way marketing goes, I don't expect a less popular console to be getting many exclusives any time soon.

Ya but Sony's online servers are horrible and PS3 gets "The Red Light", similar to RROD.

Interesting the amount of not enough exclusive comments, I'm not a fan of sony but i have to give them credit for the amount of pure support there providing for the PSP and PS3, there pumping out more exclusive first party games than Nintendo did back with the gamecube.

Can't say i enjoyed KZ2s story much tho, rather run of the mill. Took an interesting approach with the final boss fight, haven't seen that before.

Mine bricked twice on me and it's kept well ventalated. Not that over heating is a very good excuse, it shouldn't be doing that.

I love my white box too but it's got some rather big flaws, no point playing them down.

STOP SAYING PS3 SUCKS, GET A LIFE!

I had mine on the very first generation, It is the only one who has the backward compatibility with ps2 games. It was on the first year of release I believe, It cost me $599.99. At first I was like 'omg this is too expensive!! 600 bucks for this omg omg omg ill ruin my mom credit card lol', Now I truely DONT regret it, It was probally my best buy ever.

I tried the demo of killzone back there, It was great. But I will buy it when the price goes down because I have other priorites (RB2,GH:M)

Another game unique to ps3 which is great is Metal Gear Solid (I lovely call it Metal *** Liquid)
It is a really nice game of...Hiding and shooting?

Ps3 online is awesome, People are not total jerks and they are kind of cool. The best game to play online with is GTA IV in Deathmatch mode, It just plain the total hotness.

You wont regret it

Agreed. Enough with all this PS3 bashing. It's 2009, not 2006 anymore. Third party developers aren't struggling that much with putting up games on PS3 now, the console isn't $600 anymore, considering the fact that PSN is a free its a terrific online service. I hate turning this into a console war but I just want to get this out of my system right now. As an owner of both consoles they are both EQUALLY good, neither of them is perfect. Both have their ups and downs, but it doesn't make any of them more superior then the other.

Overall I am really glad with your purchase here is a quick list of games that you should get on top of my head:
Resistance 2
Little Big Planet
Metal Gear Solid 4
Uncharted
Ratchet and Clank
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue
Pixel Junk Eden (PSN tittle)
Wipeout HD (PSN tittle)
Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty (PSN tittle)
Super Stardust HD (PSN tittle)

Also remember that there are lots of multi-platform tittles released for both consoles which are defiantly worth checking out.

Agreed.
Ps3 is not a bad console, and neither is 360 or wii.
People should also stop calling other people sony, nintendo or microsoft "fan boys".
People pick the console the way they like it.
I personaly chose 360 because of Halo 3, Gears of war and other great games, but i wouldnt mind trying Resistance 2 or Killzone 2. they look awesome.

IMO if Halo was on the PS3, then people would tsay the 360 sucks. Trust me, it's true.

Just like X-Play, they voted Fable 2 for goty, PS3 fanboys claimed theyre Xbots.X-Plays defense is that if Fable was on not a 360 exclusive, it would still be GotY and no one would complain. True story.

Edit: Aside from that, I really don't care what I play a game on, aslong as I play it.

Cool. I heard Killzone 2 is fantastic. I'd like to try it out, but I don't have anyone in my family who has it.
