Fox on Canada's Military

After over a hundred Canadians died in Afghanistan this show decides to insult the Canadian military, and with such good timing too after 4 Canadian soldiers were just killed a few days ago fighting alongside the U.S.A. I would've expected better, even from Fox.

Yeah but the thing is, there's quite a difference in making fun of Stephen Harper (as Colbert and Stewart have many times before) to outright displaying ignorance and ridicule towards a nation's military who have had people die alongside America's own military. Would you think that the families of the dead Canadian soldiers would find this funny? Or anyone involved in the military in ANY country in Afghanistan or Iraq for that matter?

Stewart and Colbert would never openly mock the military in the way that Fox did. And even if they did they'd be called to account on it as would anyone else. It's not a case of Faux news being victimized, it's a case of them being brash and disrespectful and, for some reason that is beyond any reasonable comprehension, they seem to think they have a right to be that way.

And i can understand your point, as an American i appreciate Canada and Britain for fighting for us, i really do. And i do not care for red eye its there version of comedy news. Not sure if they ment to offend anyone but yeah it was low.
