TuneUp Utitilies 2009

So I was thinking about getting this program, but I'm not sure if it would be worth getting. I know it's supposed to help optimize a PC for best performance, but is it worth using?

I know alot of programs that are supposed to help don't alot of the time.

Just wanted to get some opinions from others before I start using it

the main reason why i like it cause it cleans up disk space which is always good

Thanks, Getting hard disk space cleaned up will be good for me

Im close to filling my C: Drive.

hmm i just did it i got 5g back
and i do this cleanup ever saturday
so yeah 1 week and i get a random 5g space used up

If it's a large amount like that, it's just system restores that are being created. Just use Windows' built in disk cleanup utility, you'll get the same benefit. Combine that along with CCleaner, and you'll be set.

Though I like TuneUp Utilities, I can't recommend for you to get it if all you want is a few things. Which features specifically are you looking for? Most, if not everything that TuneUp offers can be found in free utilities.

Which OS do you have? Could have slightly different recommendations depending on XP vs Vista.

I'm using XP, and I would probably use all of the features it has if I get it.
