How can I get my avatar to be a picture from my computer, and not off the web?

K whenever I try this after it uploads it says:

Internet Explorer can't display the webpage.

Do i have to enter my email? Cause I dont wanna register. It sounded like I only had to if i wanted to register.

Pretty much follow the last few steps on this guide, or upload your picture to TinyPic. Then go to User CP > Profile > Edit Avatar, then paste the URL of the image there.

Also, if it came up with "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage", A) IE [-X

, and B) Your connection probably timed-out. How large is the image, in kb?

I use photoBucket its easy and if you dont have an account it takes few minutes to make one
upload your pictures to photobucket
its what I do :mrgreen:

Photobucket accounts are alot better than just using it.

Dunno if it's just me but Photobucket would just change my uploaded pictures to JPEG.

Don't like it unless I'm uploading photos.
