Have you ever used these websties to earn a little extra money? I make enough for Runescape Membership on multiple accounts. My favorite is Triond, where so far 1 article has been published, and I have 5 more under review, hopefully to be out next week. What about you? My triond account link is below if you want to take a look at my stuff and the actual site itself.

I've never used one because it's the online version of being a begger if you ask me. The only way to earn money is to get views and things (much like your very sneaky "oh its in my sig" comment ;)) and even then the amount you get is a very low amount.

Theres much better ways to earn money without having to annoy people with silly spamming and ****. (not that I'm accusing you of that, you went for the suttle approach but you see lots of people doing it.)

The site I use you can barely make 6 dollars a month with the 1 article up I have. So putting it in my signature is a help to me, and people choose to click it.
Also, this site is where you write articles and people read them. It takes work to do this, and I figure if I love writing, why not?

No I don not, but I have never heard of it. I most likely wouldn't like it cause I hate writing

*you* perhaps but the thousands of others that use sites like that spam the living **** out of places to advertise it, trick people into clicking it and do all sorts just to get a tiny amount of money.

It's the reality of it, I've removed posts on this very site in the past doing the exact thing that I'm talking about, you asked have i used them..that was my reasoning for not doing so, I don't wish to support people like that by adding to sites like those.

I agree with you in some aspects of what you are saying.
The sites that all you have to do is visit a persons page by clicking a link, that earns them money, I believe are spam. Surveys I don't like, because they are orientated toward things I don't like. Triond, which I use, is one I do not believe is spam. If I get paid for writing, which I do anyways, why not share my writing for people? Other sites are spamming, yes, and are used strictly for advertisements, but Triond is different.

I used youtube examples because it's easiest, I didn't fancy trying to dig up old forum posts that had slipped past moderators..but as you can see it's not different.

Well, triond the site is, I'll grant that. It's at least trying to make money while supporting something worth supporting. However the users themselves? Nope, majority of them are the same ****** that clog the internet up with the crap you see above.

Did stumble across an interesting blog post though claiming it was a scam, apparently you only get payed half the ad view providing the person that viewed it actually bought whatever it was advertising. If that's true there likely to be making a ton out of it off your hard work. ;) Dunno if it's true though.
