what are you doing for the new year?

i went to the next state over yesterday to buy fireworks that are not legal here (bottle rockets, fire crakers, butterflys, roman candles, etc etc) and i plan to keep everyone up witin 1 mile of me till midnight. i might watch the ball drop. but after shooting off some fireworks ill prob go to bed.
if i dont lose a finger and end up in the ER

meh to bad i cant get drunk XD

pretty much the same as every night, I dont do anything special.
Yes I do watch the ball drop, I wouldnt miss that.
But i'll just eat alot of food, watch the ball drop for a minute, move onto 2009 (cry)
and play Halo or something lol

Probably will be on the computer, maybe watching TV with my Sister. Might watch the ball drop, or if past years have taught me anything, realizing it 10 minutes after the fact doesn't hurt much.

We'll be heading out later this evening (around the time the Costume Contest begins) for my Mom's Birthday Dinner. Always nice to have that for a New Year's Eve event.

Celebrating! As I've just discovered I've not got to work tomorrow after all. Hurray, here was me thinking I'd have to have an early one on new years eve.

I'm still not sure. I know I'm going to be with my friend Philip but we still haven't decided what we want to do yet. I think we're going to go downtown because they have things going on around there and a lot of people go down by the water and see fire works and such. I did that during Labor Day and the fireworks display by the Naval Academy were amazing. The only problem is Philip's parents don't want him driving because there are going to be a lot of drunk drivers. So I guess just finding a ride would be the hard part.

I am going to feel terrible leaving my dog home alone though because he's scared of loud noises such as thunderstorms and fireworks so he's probably going to be a wreck. I'll drug him up before I leave though.

Nothing much. Few drinks with friends. Wander the streets a little after midnight to friends houses for a few more drinks.

That or a very distressing trip to the hospital. :shock:

As for new years (in 3 hours) probably not much. Im going to a skatepark in London called Bay sixty6 on friday so I guess that would be late celebrations.

I usually drink alcohol to bring in the new year, even though I'm 5 years too young

. Can't wait for 2009 though, usually odd years are better for me than odd ones so I'm hoping I have a prosperous one.

Sadly most are out of town around here this year so I'm just staying inside and relaxing until the next year starts. If I don't get bored and fall asleep first I'll watch the ball drop

then make some sort of resolution, and wake up looking forward to the new year. For now I'll just stick to drinking this bottle of ... sparkling grape juice #-o

I went to the pub with quite a lot of people, and about half an hour before midnight the majority of us went to a club for the countdown.
