Christian or not, when giving blood, you give the government the "ok" to have your DNA, and other information about you.
My vote is no, I'll keep my blood to myself.
Plus, what if I got AIDS from a needle, or some other disease?
wow, if the government wants your blood or DNA, they'll get it. they can get DNA from hair, so i hope you dont have a brush, comb or any lose hairs. hope you wash your forks spoons and cups right after you done with them, see my point? if the government wants to know about you. they well. and when they take blood they use brand new needles and tubes that are still in the pack when you come in, no one else has touched them, so you cant get AIDs or any of that crap.

It's not as if everyone in the world needs blood. I mean, not being selfish or anything, but there are plenty of people willing to give as much as they need.
not true, matter of fact here in the U.S. there's not enough blood so if someone comes to the hospt and has a lot of blood lose they can only give them so much before they have to stop, to save blood for other people. if more people gave blood, more people could live after suffering major blood lose.

This whole situation to me is the same as organ donation. I don't see why people wouldn't carry an organ donor card. If you die and your organs could be used to help other people who are suffering why the **** wouldn't you? You're not going to need them are you? So many relatives get sentimental over corpses. In all honestly I believe when you die your cadaver should become property of the state because burying them in the dirt or burning them to ashes is just a dam waste when they could be used to help people who need it. If you believe your morality is more important than helping others. You have your priorities wrong.
i agree 100%...
