just made this quick, high quality hasnt appeared (as of post).

File size was small with surprisingly good quality.

so, thoughts and opinions?

also: it's mainly playing around with gimp to check out the quality, and my comp was running very slow at the time since I had about 10 things running at the time. Ill have less things running when I use it for actual videos.

That was pretty good quality. Nice design on gimp too.

I'm just learning how to mess around with different paint brush types on photoshop and it's a bunch of fun ^_^

But yeah, you're going to be able to create pretty good videos with camtasia. :)

Great quality. I think Camtasia is the best recording and editing system thus far.

Ya for quick editing it is great, I really like the pan and zoom system, easy to use and quick to set up.

Although for more hardcore editing with effects and stuff Sony Vegas pro 8.0 wins hands down, but it is much more time consuming to use, and generally based for importing video rather than recording with it.

I thought it was very good quality, though Camtasia has never worked for me haha.
