Super Power

Lame, but if you could have any 'super' power in the world, what would it be?

I really wish I could teleport places XD Think about it, I'd never have to worry about driving, gas, car insurance, plane tickets, hotels, being late, missing the bus, etc. I could go anywhere on the globe instantly. Ahh I think part of me is convinced I'll be able to do it one day XD
Another thing I'd like about it is that since my dog has separation issues, during lunch/inbetween classes during school I could just teleport home and spend time with him so he doesn't get as upset.

Another one I thought about that comes really close to teleporting is the ability to talk to animals. See, then I wouldn't have to worry about my dog missing me because I could explain to him that I'll be back in a few hours and if he keeps being destructive he's going to hurt himself/get kicked out of the house by my dad.
Plus, I love spending time with my dog. Being able to fully understand him would be so cool.

Ahhh. I think I'd still rather be able to teleport though. Wow I'm so lame XD I think I've been watching too much 'Heroes'.

So yeah, what would you choose?

i would also like to talk to animals. that would be really really sweet. you'd learn SO much its almost scary :shock:

i would be just as happy only talking to animals and not humans.
because animals are peaceful, and dont hate/ gossip/ bad mouth others.
and your always around some animal even if you dont know it. you would never be lonely.

i read that one native american tribe ( i cant remember which..so dont quote me )
believes that we used to be able to talk to animals then we starting thinking we were better then them and stop respecting them. and then they stoped talking with us...i dunno though, i've never really thought i was any better then a animal and i still cant talk to them #-o

anyway- back on topic :roll:

You watch Heroes too?

I loveeeeeee Heroes. Hiro used to be my favorite character ^_^ But after the first season him and Ando started to get a little annoying.

Now Sylar is my favorite. God, he's hot XD

But anyway, back to the topic, yes, I considered the space and time continuum thing but realized I wouldn't want to go back in time and disrupt stuff like Hiro always seems to do XD

Oh, and I totally agree with you jointntoday. I'd definitely rather talk to animals than people any day.

You'd probably put on a huge load of weight if you just teleported instead of walked. Sooner or later you'll teleport anywhere and everywhere, like from your bedroom to your bathroom.

For me, I'd like to control time or invisibility.

XD That's possible I suppose. But I'd still have to walk my dog and such so that wouldn't work out too well. Plus, I couldn't teleport everywhere since I couldn't let others see my powers. In public places I'd have to appear like a normal person.

-Full time control (HIIIIIIIIIIIIROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
-Teleporting (omfg like in jumper)
-Mind reading (how useful!)
-Mind controlling (dont ask xD)
-Invisibility (meh, I'd like to annoy way too much people xD)
-Flying (omg)

Meh, would be so hard to chose, But I'd stick out with 'Full time control' but I'd hesitate between it and 'Teleporting'.

The ability to control time. When my alarm clock rings at 5:45 id wanna stop time and sleep about 6 more hours. Drive to work clock in then speed time up till 4 clock out. Go to school speed the boring times up and go home.

The ability to generate and control electricity/energy.

Honestly, it's the most amazing power ever. With enough electricity you could refract light around you, thus you're invisible. You could move the atoms of your body extremely fast, thus teleportation. Also, if you really thought about it, you could focus enough energy into you're body and accelerate you're cells, and if you consider the theories proposed by Einstein about space and time, then you could theoretically be able to slow down time.

Not to mention you could generate heat, thus you have fire power.
You could accelerate the rate of metabolism among plants, thus you have control of nature.

Actually, you would have control of matter itself if you focus enough energy on the electrons within the atom.

You would, in essence, be God... :shock:

Shapeshifting, because, if you think about it, it almost covers all of the possible super-powers out there!

Call me cheap, yes, but it's my honest opinion. I like shapeshifting.

Just because I can fly, and you turn yourself to look like me, doesn't mean you ARE me. If you adopted my powers when you were me then you would lose your own, and then shapeshifting would be pointless lol

going anywhere would be fun
or sneaking up on people while invisible would be cool too
