First Glimpse of Star Trek Trailer (Warning)

Hey guys. I just found a trailer for Star Trek.
Warning: There is a woman taking of her shirt into a bra for like a 1/2 second. I put it in spoilers so people won't get mad at me. I asked trekkie and he said it was okay in a spoiler tag.

That looks pretty good and different. Different as in refreshing and new compared to the past 22 years of Star Trek. So I really hope this one goes over well with fans and non-fans alike.

I'm not a fan of Star Trek, but that looks really good. I like how it's gonna show how everyone becomes who they are. But J.J. Abrams? Come on... The guy had one good idea that he dragged on 2 seasons too much and now he thinks he can direct a movie? How about we look at his last movie, Cloverfield. I don't care what anyone says, that movie was ****.

okay this movie is ruined in the eyes of many trekkies. why
1. spock is still have vulcan. he's not allowed to show emotions. doing so is unvulcany

watch as many trekkies will hate it because he showed anger.

2. they have that one asian guy and he's driving. wonder why there was a ship that blew up

3. lack of an army of red shirts.

Ive never been too interested in Star Trek but this does look good to me.

Although since I don't know much about it that may be why it's more appealing to me since I won't see problems with it.

1. He did show an emotion in the original series of desperation when they went through a quasar and the team they sent (including Spock) finally got the small ship up and through out all the gas.
2. You mean Sulu? You racist.
3. I still haven't figured out what blue and red shirts mean. red = Lt.?, blue = i have no idea because Spock is in first command (Before captain) and has a blue shirt.

Wow, I might actually see that. Oh well, That should be a good movie from this trailer, but, trailers don't show everything, the movie could be really bad, excpet for those parts.

good point, Ive seen that happen quite a few times with supposedly good movies.

I saw that. Apple needs a serious upgrade on their video download. Most times the audio slightly echo loops and other times it won't load all the way.

That's odd. Which size did you download? 480p was perfect quality for me.

Yeah Star Trek's not exactly my thing, but I guess I should see this when it comes out on DVD just to keep Shane happy. Trailer looks pretty good, but the characters all retain their original nerdy looking uniforms and.. hairstyles. Modern, but old fashioned at the same time, just doesn't seem like a good mix to me and prevents it from passing as a new, worth-seeing movie. :oops:
