Hey guys,

Not sure if you know much about web standards, or even care, but here are the Acid3 tests I did with the current up-to-date browsers on my system. The only changes I have made to Firefox are as follows - FoxyProxy (disabled at the time), NoScript (allowed the Acid3 testing, not an issue), and DownloadHelper.

Knowing what some of these get, does it change your views on any of them? I personally don't care that much, and I assume the bulk of people feel the same way.

Also, I LOL'ed at Internet Explorer.

It scored, as far as I can tell, a 12. So out of 100, it failed miserably.

Yep, because pretty much every application coded in VB/C++/C# that uses the Windows API, uses the IE rendering engine, ergo, you have the same problems.

Anyways... IE8 (version included with Windows 7):

IE8: Standards mode

And yes, standards are important. The end-user shouldn't have to worry about them. Browser companies must make their browsers standard compliant in this day and age so developers can make their code standard compliant across all browsers.

Swiftkit uses IE, so of course you get the same score.
