Okay, so this is probably a strange topic, but have you ever gotten an MRI Scan?

I got one today, and it hurt like a sunnuvabitch.

That being the uncomfortable positions for an hour and having an IV stuck in my arm the whole time. It hurt. XD

And yeah, it was for my thumb. Results tomorrow. :D

It's basically a giant machine that uses magnets to analyze certain things in your body.
For example, it did scans to see the depth, thickness, etc on my hand.

I've had plenty due to soccer injuries. I love them. Just go in and sleep for hours in a confined space.

I'm going to get one soon for my knee. Which kinda sucks because I'm claustrophobic.

MRI scans affect different people in different ways, if you're claustrophobic, the scan is for something serious and wide awake, chances are you'll be ******* yourself if you get one of these.

If you're in there because of a bump to the head or sore knee, and not bothered about being in a big tube you'll not be bothered by it. I've never had one but my mother has, she just read while she was in there, wasn't too bothered by it.
