Your thought on Illegal Immigration. And solutions for the issue.

I don't like it, living so close to the coast i get a large number of them in my area, few weeks back i saw a women yelling her head off at one for chatting up a 15 year old girl, see them all over the highstreet, in groups, standing about and causing trouble. Don't work, don't contribute anything just sponge off people.

Few acceptations i suppose but not many.

I have my own personal solution for the illegal problem in England:

If you're caught coming into this country illegally you're shot on the spot. Don't care who you are, what you want, where you came from. That's it, your dead.

Three options left for them, risk it and get killed, stay where you are and deal wtih whatever problems you're facing or bugger off to another country that isn't mine.

Course this isn't a racist thing, i equally think we should shoot anyone who's been claiming tax payers money for 20+ years without working for no good reason.

edit:**** I'm in a violent mood today, I'll probably want to give them all flowers tomorrow..tis a me thing, nevermind.

i never really though about illegal immirgation in england, not to sound stupid but what countries are they comeing from?

here in the U.S. we need walls, land minds, and we need to give border patrol the right to do what they are there for. i agree with the shoot to kill idea creep had. if someone is going to come here and do not pay tax's or work a good job, they dont need to be here. and slaping them on the wrists is not working very well so far...not only that, but a LOT of drugs come in from the borders and drugs = crime, crime = dead people...not good.

yeah but anyway, they need to get the hell out but they are not going to till we stand up for our selfs..

like creep said this isnt a racist thing at all, i dont care where your from or what color you are, if your not going to come here the right way dont come here at all.

Its a problem everywhere in America. Now i know America is a land of immigrants but my family came over from Scotland legally and started a new life why cant everyone else?

My solution...
Have a visa lottery yearly.
-1 million one year visa will be up for grabs every year. We would have to find some way to track these people also.

Anyone crossing our border illegally should be taken as an act of war. Which means anyone has the right to shoot them, citizens and military personal.

yeah i live in california so there are immigrants EVERYWHERE (mostly mexican) and this is gonna sound extrreamly harsh but i have 2 solutions

1. have a giant raid and capture all the iliagals and either sell them back to their home countries for the problems they caused OR put them in intensive labor camps and if they work good for 5 years they can become citizens.

2. put a bunch of rednecks in mexico and have them suck up their money and hopefully mexico will do more to prevent their citizens from stop coming into our country if we return the favor.

I have a solution...

1. Build the Great Wall of America.
2. Make a 20ft wide moat filled with crocs and alligators. (Might as well help a species survive while we're at it)
3. Motion sensitive cameras and heat sensitive camera's up every 50ft along the wall.
4. Put sharp shooters every 500ft on top of the wall with tranquilizer darts.
5. Make one door, so at least the legals can come through.

Easy solution. Not to mention building and maintaining the wall will give hundreds of jobs, so it'll help the economy.

for about a week, then we handed us in. And as I see from your 'solutions', you are all xenophobes.
Anyways, the point is, if you come to another country, you have to adapt, that's how i got belgian nationality. I can't stand immigrants who live here for 20 years and cannot speak the language.
We have anti illegal immigrant raids here, who's caught gets a planeticket to whatever country he's in. Solution is, if you hand yourself in, you have a trial period, in which you have to learn the ways of the country, language, take some educative courses to help you get a job, etc. If you fail to integrate, well, bugger off.

I have to agree here. If you want to immigrate to a country, at least try to learn the language and adapt to the culture of it.

I don't know if I'm just naive (the area where I live doesn't have a large illegal immigrant problem like some other states) but I don't think most Mexican people that cross the American border are thinking "Hey, let's cross the desert into America, so we can work hard and get paid less than the Americans do!". There has to be a good reason, most likely extreme poverty.

However, if you're smuggling drugs into the country that's a different story. I don't believe in putting land mines or anything like that at the border, but there needs to be more of a crackdown on the crime.

I do agree with that visa lottery idea.

The thing is that even if they are paid less than the rest of America, they would still be paid more than if they stayed in Mexico.

Most come here because we have better health care (lol, that's a first), we have better public resources, better education, and our minimum wage is a dozen times that of Mexico's.

The sad thing is that if they applied to get a citizenship it would take nearly 5 years to get one. That's why they come here illegally.
Personally, I'm tired of it. I bet you that if all of them payed their taxes we wouldn't nearly have the debt we have now and this recession wouldn't even be close to as bad as it is. They're stealing our money, our taxes, our public programs, our health care, and our sense of nationality.
They need to learn english, and if they don't then screw them and go back to mexico. I don't care how hard it is to live there. Back when most of the "real" americans immigrated here it nearly killed them to get here. They spent weeks and sometimes months at sea and lost family members on the way. I don't care how hard it is to buy food, stop whining and apply for a legal citizenship. If you're not willing to do that then you don't deserve to call yourself and American.

I hate it. Like lots. I don't understand why the UK still has open borders.

I mean fair play to the guys who come over legit, trying to make something of their lives, doing pizza shops or whatever, I personally would hate this country without them, because I often want currys. But the dudes who come over on lorrys and sleep 20 to a room untill they can get fake passports and whatever are pretty irritating. I'm pretty sure there's a few live near me, and they're always hanging around outside spitting all over the floor and whatnot.

One of them gets the same bus as me quite often, doesn't have a child, yet uses a push chair as means to carry bags, and get a seat on the bus.

Some of the ones in London are fantastic in that aspect, they walk around the undergrounds holding what seems to be a baby wrapped up, thing is, theirs no baby in it. They just do it hoping for the sympathy vote.
