Question to all Atheists

What do you believe? And how do you back your beliefs?

We don't believe in anything other than probably evolution but most don't care or think about how the universe was created, we just live life the way it is and make the most of it and not have to worry about committing our life's to a "god" that is illogical and can't be proven.

Very well said, actually. Personally, I don't care. Life seems nice and I just want to live it.

Edit: To be a little more precise, I know that I don't believe in a god because there is no proof of, or logic in, a god's existence. If there was, cool, a god exists, but right now I see no reason why I should believe. I could go to church for the sake of going to church, just to be safe if a god actually does exist, but in comparison I feel so much better after spending my Sunday morning sleeping. I'm sure God feels better too, knowing that I'm properly rested rather than reciting prayers while half asleep.
What do I believe? I suppose I believe that life is for living. Some people like to spend their time dwelling on these kinds of questions, but life's too short.

I'm a 'christian' (quote un-quote) but I really don't think anything about religion or anything like after-life or that ****. I just like life as it is without any more complications

You get used to these threads fast. I think there's some sort of conspiracy on this site in which people just create threads to **** other people off. :p

I for one, believe in a God. But oddly enough my beliefs work together with that which science has "proven".

But yeah, I believe in a God. I know this is an atheist topic, but what Anubis said applies to me. I use science as a way to reinforce my beliefs in God.

I choose to see it like this: You cannot prove there is a God, but you also cannot prove that there isn't one.
