What do you think of PETA?

I honestly don't approve of what they do or stand for. You know they asked Ben and Jerry's ice cream to replace cow milk with breast milk because milking the cows hurts them? It all sounds like a crock of **** if you ask me since it hurts cows if you DON'T milk them! A mother's milk is for her child!

Like all animal rights groups i think there stupid. People with to much time and nothing better to do so they cry over a mouse or something thinking there doing there part for the world.

They see it as doing there part, i see it as them dragging down humanity.

I agree with humane treatmant for animals. But Peta just give themselves a bad name with how radical they are.

I've heard of them harming the animals they work to "protect".

PETA = People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
or tongue in cheek
People for the Eating of Tasty Animals

While we shouldn't torture animals I think PETA goes too far. They probably started out with noble goals but are more like animal extremists now. Greenpeace has gone the same way.

Here here. =D>

Greenpeace repeled down from the ceiling in March on a political speech that was invite only. Then later on when the same party (but federal) was speaking at a really they wonder why they're not allowed in

Here is the original Peta story about Ben & Jerry's

It's ethical treatment, Not ethnic treatment.

PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals.

And I hate PETA, However I have nothing against vegetarians.

Edit: After reading that sotry about Ben and Jerrys and PETA, makes me want to personally go to their headquarters and put a bullet in their dumb heads.

Eh

They stand for a good cause. Yes, they go to extreme lengths, but that's because they feel it's necessary.

Honestly, I partly blame our society. Think about it - People do not pay attention to people asking politely to do stuff. They end up just getting walked on.

They use *** appeal and gore to get peoples attention. This is what our society reacts to, and they are using it to their advantage.

Do I agree with everything they do? No.

But yeah, they are fighting for a good cause. Just a bit extreme.

Edit:

About that..

PETA Letter to Ben and Jerry's wrote:
Like all mammals, cows only produce milk during and after pregnancy, so to be able to constantly milk them, cows are forcefully impregnated every nine months.

A woman hurts too when she's not 'milked' during and after pregnancy..
Cows are mothers to their calves too you know.. So you are exactly right. "A mother's milk is for her child!"
So there goes that argument down the drain.
:P
