Is The D Plate Possible?

Not sure if this should be in here or Items...but since its not released I though General was a good place.

I was thinking about Dragon armour because I was wondering whether or not to buy a Dragon Chain. And I guess one thing led to another and I was thinking about the Dragon Plate Body.

Now I know it isn't out yet, I don't even know if Jagex is thinking about putting it...but what is your opinion? Will Jagex ever release it? And if so, what monster will drop it? They made a very powerful one for the Dragon Full Helm...

And if it was to come out, what do you think it would sell at?

Discuss....I am undecided...

NOTE: Dont say "Jagex said they would never release D Plate"

Because if you do, I will point out that they said they would never have any armor stronger than dragon (barrows and 3rd age, anyone) And how they said they would never release any new dragon items (D Full helm pl0x?)

Oh, they'll add it eventually. Although with barrows and 3rd age already released, it really will only be for show.

I bet the monster will be something that takes at least 2 people, like the KQ.

Don't forget they released d boots so d plate is next or um d claws lol d will prob need a quest req also.

I actually think it's smart that they release new Dragon items every once and a while instead of just putting them in the game when it first came out. It shows that they have some kind of plan, that they just aren't implementing random updates. It's kinda like how after level 75 (or whatever) Defence there's nothing else. It leaves room for Jagex to improve armour types for higher levels.

So yes, I do think the Dragon Plate will eventually come out, just like all the other Dragon items have.

I honestly dont see why not. While it wont be worth the amount of armor it gives you, it will be more of a show item, such as Santa hats or dragon full helms. And theres no doubt it would look really cool. And who says it would have to be extremely expensive?

The problem with a D plate is that it might lower the chains cost but we'll never know. The plate I guess would be the same or higher than the Full Helm

There will probably be an adamantite dragon which has the D plate or like a corporeal beast with only 1000 hp

i am pretty sure the plate will come out one day but i think items will come before it like maybe dragon pick ace or even the dragon war hammer

it will come out, maybe with the release of rune dragons... and a dragon pickaxe would be nice, i hope they release that soon.

It happens in every game, the markey eventually gets flooded with high-end gear (whips, anyone?) and the developers have to bring out something else to prevent the high-levelled players from straying to other games. The dragon platebody is inevitable.

It's concept art, they have alot of it that wouldn't work in the game so don't hold your breathe.

The dragon plate will come out eventually, maybe next year but not for a while since the dragon full helm and the boots did come out fairly recently, in the past year and a half.

well if they introduce it chain price goes down like med helm i bet anyways i think they do that alogside like kite pick ect since they started this saga of d armour improvement.

Well I'm saving up for it right now ... I'm not sure what would drop it, probably an incredibly powerful monster - which means the price will be sky high for an eternity until it becomes more common (if it does). That's just what I think
